Launceston CIB is continuing investigations into a home invasion and robbery that occurred in Kay St, Kings Meadows at 7.10am on Wednesday morning.

Investigators would like to thank members of the public who provided information in relation to this matter. They are following up some of this information and are particularly interested in finding out more about a small red sedan seen parked in the vicinity of Janet and Kay streets about the time of the incident.

Two men are still wanted for questioning. The first has been described as tall with a thin build. The other man was described as shorter with a heavier build. Both had their faces obscured at the time of the incident.

The female victim has been released from hospital. She suffered minor complications as a result of having petrol poured over her. The two-year-old child is safe and well.
