Police are continuing to investigate a deliberately lit fire at a property in Ellendale overnight on Saturday.
Detective Inspector Craig Joel said that investigations were ongoing in order to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
“No one has been charged at this stage,” he said.
“Police are aware of the heightened community concern regarding the Freedom Centre. Police have an active presence in the community and will continue to monitor the situation.”
The fire was contained at the time to two vehicles and the adjoining carport/garage that the vehicles were parked in. The fire was extinguished without reaching the main structure of the house.
