Police investigate armed robbery – Club Hotel, Glenorchy
Glenorchy CIB is investigating the armed robbery of the Club Hotel in Main Road, Glenorchy overnight.
At approximately 11pm last night, a man dressed in black and wearing a balaclava confronted two staff members exiting the bottleshop after closing up.
The man produced a large knife, demanded money and fled the scene with an amount of cash.
The man is described as approximately 6’4 tall, medium build, Caucasian, wearing black jeans, black suede lace up shoes, black hoody, a black balaclava and black gloves.
Investigations are continuing.
