Approximately 6.30pm Friday 12 September, Tasmania Police were called to attend a rural property in Middle Road Pelverata, in relation to a male person who had made threats to harm himself.

Police negotiated with the male person who was taken into custody around 7am Saturday 13 September.

Tasmania Police are continuing investigations into the incident.

Tasmania Police advise that during the incident there was no danger to any members of the public.
