On Monday 12 March 2012 the Police Rescue Helicopter was tasked to a bushwalker with a broken ankle on Mt Amos at Freycinet National Park.  

Just prior to take off the helicopter was re-tasked to Dunalley for a youth who suffered serious head injuries as a result of a boating accident.

After flying the youth to Hobart the helicopter proceeded to Mt Amos and the male bushwalker was winched into the aircraft and flown to Hobart.
