Police have charged a Bridgewater man in relation to the alleged theft of a motor vehicle from a property in Claremont on Wednesday morning.

A 1992 silver Nissan Pulsar was stolen from a property in Centenary Crescent and was later recovered from Bridgewater.

Police today arrested and charged a 36 year old Bridgewater man with one count of motor vehicle stealing.

He was bailed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on 18 April.
