POLICE CHARGE 14 YEAR OLD WITH 2x ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY

Tasmania Police arrested and charged a 14 year old boy with 2 counts of attempted armed robbery at the Fountainside Hotel in Hobart at 4:00pm yesterday.

No one was injured in the incident and the youth was quickly apprehended by uniform officers near the scene.

The youth was detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court (Youth Justice Division) today.
