Police are calling for information following reports of a disturbance near Rocherlea/Newnham overnight.

Police received three calls from members of the public about 2.40am, where loud noises followed by raised voices (male and female) were reported.

Police attended the scene and conducted extensive mobile and foot patrols in the area as well as utilising drones.

Inspector Dean McMahon said that police were treating the reports seriously and would like to hear from anyone who heard or witnessed suspicious activity in the area around 2.40am.
