Police are calling for witnesses following two disturbing incidents of ‘rocks’ being dropped on moving vehicles from the Westbury overpass last night.

The two damaged vehicles were being driven towards Launceston on the Midland Highway between 9.10 and 9.20pm last night.

“The potential consequences of these illogical actions are just frightening,” said Inspector Johnston.

These actions are assaults against people, it is incredibly stupid behaviour and those responsible need to understand that.
