Police are appealing for information in relation to a number of stealing offences that have occurred recently on school properties in the greater Hobart area. All of these schools currently have building works being conducted on site.

During business hours a tall male, believed to be aged in his mid 30’s with a shaved head, has been entering school grounds and removing items from unoccupied classrooms and storage areas, including personal items such as wallets and handbags.

Police are seeking public assistance with the identification of the pictured male whom they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

All educational and business premises are reminded to be vigilant in regards to securing valuables.

Anyone with information, or who is able to identify the male, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. This can be done anonymously and may lead to a reward.
