Pizza driver robbed
At about 9pm on Sunday 29 May 2011, a pizza delivery driver from Burnie Domino’s was robbed by a male wielding a knife whilst making a delivery in the Burnie area.
The knife wielding offender was assisted by another male and both fled the scene on foot with a quantity of cash and four pizzas. Police later apprehended two males and conveyed them to Burnie Police Headquarters.
As a result of investigations, a 19 year old male and a 15 year old male youth were subsequently charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and detained to appear at Burnie Court the following day.
The Domino’s employee was not injured in the incident.
