Pedestrian hit by a car, New Town

On Thursday 6 September 2012 at approximately 1pm, police were called to reports of a pedestrian having been struck by a vehicle on New Town Road, New Town outside Ogilvie High School.

A 44 year old female had been attempting to cross the road when she was struck by a vehicle.  The car is described as a red coloured vehicle (possibly a hatch) with 2 male occupants. 

The offending vehicle did not stop. 

The woman has a suspected broken right arm and bruising to her body. 

Police are calling for witnesses to this incident, in particular anyone who can identify the offending vehicle.
