Pedestrian death
A pedestrian who was critically injured after being hit by a car in Raglan Street in Somerset earlier this month has died.
The 71-year-old man, from Raglan Street Somerset, was walking back from his neighbour’s house on the 4th of October when he was struck by a car being driven by a 28-year-old Somerset woman.
He was flown directly to the Royal Hobart Hospital after the collision however he failed to regain consciousness and passed away last night.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. A report will also be prepared for the Coroner.
