Partial remains believed to be human located, Lauderdale Beach.

Police are currently investigating the discovery of skeletal remains which are believed to be human.

The discovery was made by a local resident on the water’s edge at Lauderdale Beach whilst he was walking his dogs at around 7.45pm on Sunday the 14^th of January 2018.

The remains will be subject to forensic testing over the coming days in order to determine if the remains are in fact human.

Further information on the origin of the remains will be released pending the outcome of forensics analysis, however the skeletal remains appear to be quite old.
