Cold Case Unit investigation at Lake Leake
The Tasmania Police Cold Case Unit has completed a search of a Lake Leake property. Personnel had been at the property from Thursday September 2 to Tuesday September 7.
Smithton burglaries
Overnight on 6th-7th September 2010, two businesses in the Smithton area were entered, with a number of items including a safe and cash stolen. During the same time period a box trailer was taken from Poke Street and a trail bike stolen from Stanley.

Devonport Police are investigating a number of thefts from schools in and around the Devonport area.

Police have detected a vehicle travelling at 142km/h in an 80km/h zone earlier today during a high visibility operation targetting speed.
