Tasmania Police assist with CHOGM
A contingent of Tasmania Police officers departed on Wednesday 19 October to assist the Western Australia Police Force during the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) held in Perth 28-30 October 2011.

The Police Westpac Rescue helicopter was deployed twice today to rescue injured bushwalkers.

Hobart Police have charged a male youth with the vessel burglaries reported last week.
Boat Burglaries – Victoria Dock
During the evening of 10th October a number of vessels moored at Victoria Dock were entered, damaged and had property stolen.
