Shed fire, Beaconsfield (26 Dec)
At approximately 9pm on 26/12/13 Tasmania Police attended a shed fire at Weld Street Beaconsfield. The shed was well ablaze when Tasmania Police and Tasmania Fire Service attended, with approximately $50,000 damage caused as a result of the fire.
Waterfront Assault (21 Dec)
Police are seeking information from any member of the public who may have witnessed an assault committed upon a 40 year old man in the vicinity of Waterman’s Dock, near the Observatory Nightclub, around 2am on Saturday 21 December 2013.

Located – Missing Person – Guy David Richards
Mr Guy Richards has been located safe and well in Tweed Heads, NSW. He has made contact with his family.
Burglary – Cambridge Kitchen Takeaway (22 Dec)
In the early hours of Sunday, 22 December 2013, Cambridge Kitchen Takeaway was broken into, during which a large safe containing a quantity of cigarettes and cash was stolen.
Investigations into attack on police officer’s vehicle
Tasmania Police has established a taskforce of detectives to investigate the attacks on the vehicle of a Devonport police officer.
House Fire – Sorell Street, Bridgewater
At around 1.15am on Monday 23 December 2013, Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) and Tasmania Police responded to a house fire at 3/14 Sorell Street, Bridgewater.

Stolen Firearms – West Moonah
During the late evening of Saturday 21/12/13 and the early hours of 22/12/13 unknown persons have entered a motor vehicle parked in a private driveway at Fourth Avenue, West Moonah. Two firearms, which were contained in a key locked firearms case, were stolen from inside the vehicle.
