Reports Of Suspected Counterfeit Currency In Southern Tasmania
Police are investigating recent reports of suspected counterfeit currency being used in Southern Tasmania including at Berridale, Moonah, Hobart, Snug, Sandy Bay and Kingston. Unsafe firearms charges
Tasmania Police have charged a man with 16 counts of possession of unsafe firearms. The man, aged 74, from Howrah, will appear in court at a later date. The man’s firearms were tested following an incident in April where another man received a foot injury at a pistol club at Pontville.
