Police officer dismissed following internal investigation
The Commissioner of Police has dismissed a 46-year-old male constable from Tasmania Police. The constable, from the state’s north-west, was dismissed on 22 December following an internal investigation. The matter relates to a historical complaint regarding his conduct that predates his appointment as a police officer. It is not appropriate to provide further comment.
