Glenorchy CIB are investigating two serious matters that occurred in the early hours of 28 February 2012.

The first incident occurred at the United Service Station, 409 Brooker Highway, Lutana.  At 4.50amtwo males entered the business, threatened a staff member with a knife demanding money, but soon after fled the scene empty handed. 

The second incident occurred only a short time later at approximately 5.10am, in which two males entered the Shell Service Station, 94 Main Road, Claremont.  The males threatened staff with a knife, demanding money and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount. 

Police are following a specific line of enquiries in relation to these matters and believe them to be linked.
