Unfortunately we had a fatal crash yesterday resulting in a German tourist being killed after a vehicle she was in ran off a gravel road and over a steep embankment.
During the last reporting day another “P” plater was detected travelling at 124 km/h on the Tasman Highway at Cambridge when the maximum speed is only 80 km/h.
It should also be noted that Falls Festival is about to start with traffic heading down to the event tomorrow. It is important to remind all driver, especially those less experienced of the need for safe driving and patience as traffic delays will be expected. Police will also have strong presence up to the conclusion of the event.
