A 37 year old Constable from the Southern Police District has been stood-down from duty on full pay pending an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct.

The conduct is alleged to consist of the Constable having made inappropriate comments to, and physical contact with colleagues whilst on duty, along with allegations that the Constable accessed information he was not entitled to.

Professional Standards is investigating the matter.

It is inappropriate to make any further comment at this time given that the matter is under investigation.
