Police have recently received a number of complaints relating to people exposing themselves and engaging in obscene activity in the area of Coles Beach, Devonport.

Responding to concerns from members of the public, police have increased patrols in the area which has included both mobile and foot patrols.  Police will continue to monitor the behaviour of people frequenting Coles Beach.

People detected by police engaging in obscene and offensive activity in a public place face arrest and prosecution.
