At approximately 9:45pm on Wednesday 12th December 2012 a fire was deliberately lit in the rear section of a vacant house situated at Oakley Street New Town.

The residence has sustained significant smoke and fire damage estimated to be in the vicinity of $160,000.

Hobart Detectives are keen to speak with anyone who may have information about the fire or persons responsible.
