Police are appealing for information from the public following a serious motor vehicle accident on Risdon Road, New Town at 7.25pm on Thursday 22 September 2011.  The sole occupant was driving an early model white Holden Apollo sedan which has lost control and crashed on Risdon Road at the intersection of Bell Street.

The driver, a 30 year old male from the New Town area, was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition.
