A 33-year-old New Norfolk man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences committed recently in the Hobart and New Norfolk areas.

After thorough investigation, the man was charged yesterday with: 

• Stealing x 3
• Evade Police (Aggravated Circumstances) x 1
• Drive whilst disqualified x 5 
• Unregistered Motor Vehicle x 5
• Use a motor vehicle with no premium cover x 5
• Dishonestly display a plate in a way calculated to deceive x 1

The man was detained and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court later today.
