Tasmania Police has released the name of the driver killed in yesterday’s single vehicle crash on the Murchison Highway north of Tullah.

She was 51 year old Nerida Bassett from McArthur Street, Wynyard.

Mrs BASSETT was killed she lost control of her Ford Falcon sedan when exiting a left curve and sliding off the road and into a tree.

Crash Investigators are still conducting enquires into the cause of the crash and an inquest has been opened into the matter.
