A man is in police custody and specialist officers are today continuing forensic analysis of a crime scene on Mt Roland following the discovery of a woman’s body there yesterday.

The woman was aged 44 and from South Australia.

The man is aged 63 and is also from South Australia. He is being held in custody on suspicion of murder. He has not been charged.

The Westpac Police Rescue Helicopter is being used this morning by officers going to and from the scene which is some 200metres from the summit of Mt Roland.
