The annual MRA Toy Run is being held on Saturday the 2nd of December 2017. The ride commences at 2:30pm from the Derwent Entertainment Centre and finishes at Franklin Wharf at around 3:30pm.  Road closures will commence from about 2:00pm.  Roads affected are;

• Brooker Highway to southbound traffic, between the Berridale on ramp (Strathaven Drive) and Davey Street, Hobart
• Tasman Highway (bridge off ramp) to southbound traffic at McVilley Drive
• Davey Street between the Tasman Highway and Murray Street

Northbound traffic traveling on the Brooker Highway will not be affected, however vehicles will not be permitted to cross the route during the event.

The Hobart waterfront bordered by Davey Street, Salamanca Place, Castray Esplanade and Elizabeth Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 2:00pm until 5:00pm.

Motorists should expect delays and where possible plan to leave earlier or identify an alternative route, to ensure they get to their destination on time.
