The motorcyclist involved in the collision on Brooke Street at East Devonport on the 15th May 2012 has succumbed to his injuries at died at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He died yesterday afternoon.

He was Troy Dale Lucas, 41 years of Club Drive, Shearwater.

Mr Lucas was travelling east on Brooke Street on his black Suzuki motorcycle when he collided with an on-coming Toyota Corolla hatchback.

Investigations into the matter are continuing and a report is being prepared for the Coroner.

Police in the Crash Investigation Section at Burnie Police Headquarters would like to speak with anyone who may have observed either of the vehicles in the area at the time of the collision.
