Motor Vehicle Crash – South Arm Highway, Lauderdale
At 1:50am on Saturday 21 April 2018 Police, Tasmania Ambulance and Tasmania Fire Service have responded a two vehicle accident on the South Arm Highway, Lauderdale. A white Holden Ute travelling south has lost control and collided with a Ford travelling in the opposite direction.
As a result of the accident the 18 year old male driver of the Commodore Ute was extracted from the vehicle and taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries. The 18 year old passenger was treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 32 year old female was also treated for injuries.
The roadway was closed for 5 hours.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen a White Holden Commodore ute travelling in that area prior to the accident.
