Motor vehicle burglary and stealing suspect charged
After a number of burglary incidents were reported at Marieville Esplanade overnight 11th/12th February 2015, members of Hobart uniform police apprehended a young man travelling on Marilyn Road, South Hobart on a reported stolen motorcycle.

Police allege the man left the scene of a motor vehicle fire on the stolen motorcycle.

The 18 year old man was interviewed by Detectives from Hobart CIB and charged with various stealings, motor vehicle stealings, burglaries and attempted burglaries.

Investigations continue and further charges may be laid.
