At 1pm today the Tasmania Police Westpac Rescue Helicopter located a body in the water approximately 2 kilometers east of Badger Island.

The body is a male person and is believed to be the skipper of the vessel that ran aground on the southern side of Badger Island in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
