Missing person update – Andrew Jarman

Police are continuing their investigations into the whereabouts of Latrobe man, Andrew John Jarman.

35 year old Mr Jarman failed to return home after going for a bicycle ride on Sunday 19 August 2012 in the Latrobe area.

Police and Mr Jarman’s family are concerned for his welfare.

Mr Jarman is 180cm tall of medium build. He has short dark hair with a moustache and beard with several days growth. He has brown eyes and a ruddy complexion.

He is believed to be wearing a white top with a red/white/blue jumper, dark blue pants and a cap with the letter “b” on it. He was riding a white “Cyclops” mountain bike and was wearing a red/black “Met” brand bicycle helmet.

Mr Jarman was seen at about 4pm riding out of the Warrawee reserve towards Latrobe.  A second witness has reported seeing Mr Jarman in Hamilton St, Latrobe, at 4:15pm on Sunday 19 August.

Police have scoured the bush tracks in the Warrawee Reserve without success.

It’s possible that Mr Jarman may have decided to travel interstate and police are investigating that possibility.

Police would like to thank the public for their assistance and again ask anyone who may have seen Mr Jarman to contact Tasmania Police on 131444 or their local Police Station.
