Police are currently searching for a 73 year old female, Norma Jean YOUD date of birth 10/1/1938, who went missing in the Claremont area on the 1st December 2011.  Police have concerns for her health and safety.

She is described as slim build, dark blonde hair in a bob cut about ear length, blue eyes and about 162cm tall. She also wears spectacles. She has a number of burn scars on her face, arms and hands. It is not known what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance. 

She is believed to be driving a silver Hyundai Getz registration A29MJ and may be in the Tasman Peninsula or greater Hobart area. 

Ms YOUD is not described as dangerous however due to health concerns, police request anyone who has information as to her whereabouts to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
