At approximately 4.15pm the missing person was located on the Carbine walking track near Zeehan. He is suffering dehydration and exhaustion and will be treated at the Queenstown Hospital.

The missing person stated he lost the walking track late on Saturday and has been unable to find it since. Members from the SES were in the party who located him.

Police are very pleased with this outcome and wish to thank all involved in this search operation which has been conducted in very difficult terrain.
