Mrs Jean Marion WHELAN found alive and well

Tasmania Police is pleased to advise that Mrs Jean Marion Whelan, who was reported missing earlier today, has been found alive and well.

Mrs Whelan went missing earlier today from her home and Scottsdale. She was found not far from home in a neighbouring paddock. She was treated by ambulance staff and taken to the Scottsdale Hospital for observations.

Police would like to particularly thank members of the Scottsdale community, local Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) and State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers, and members of the SES from the greater northern district area.
