Police hold concerns for the safety of Lionel Lawrence Collins (69yrs), last seen leaving his family home in Devonport around 5:30pm on Wednesday, 17 August 2016.

Last seen wearing brown trousers and a yellow TasFreight business t-shirt, Mr Collins was not dressed for walking or inclement weather conditions.

Mr Collin’s vehicle, a white Toyota Hilux, was located abandoned in the car park at Dove Lake during the afternoon of 18 August.

Police and Parks and Wildlife Services officers are today conducting a search around the Dove Lake car park and the wider area.

Anyone with information that may assist police in locating Mr Collins is urged to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444.
