DNA results have confirmed that human remains located at the Esplanade at Triabunna on 2 April 2010 are those of missing man Basil Alexander Lee. Mr Lee, aged 40, was last seen at 10.45 pm on Monday 11 January 2010 at Seafish Jetty, Triabunna, where he worked as a deckhand on a commercial fishing vessel.

His death is not considered suspicious. A Coronial Inquest will be held in due course.

Mr Lee’s family, who reside in New Zealand, have been advised.
