Tasmania Police are pleased to confirm that 25 year old Hobart man Andrew Gaskell, was located today by Malaysian search and rescue personnel. 

Mr Gaskell was reported missing to Tasmania Police on 27 October while hiking in the Mulu National Park in the Sarawak region of Malaysia.  

He is currently being assessed at a local Malaysian hospital. 

Tasmania Police remain in contact with the Gaskell family and our thoughts are with Andrew and his family.
