Police are concerned for the welfare of a 14 year old boy missing from the Sheffield area.

Joshua Norman Scheers is described as being 150cm tall of slim build with brown hair.

He has blue eyes and a fair complexion. He is believed to be riding a red Mountain bike.

Joshua is described as suffering from a number of learning and developmental problems.

He is wearing black and red pyjamas under black dress trousers, a blue and white short
sleeve checked shirt and black school type shoes.

It is believed that Joshua may be either camping in bushland around Sheffield or has ridden
his bicycle towards Devonport.

Police and SES volunteers have been searching the local area without success.

Police are asking anybody who may have seen the teen or have any information as to his
whereabouts to contact the Devonport Police Station on 6421 7511 or 131 444.
