On Thursday 12 June 2014 the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend Green Point, Marrawah on the states North West Coast.

A 69 year old male from Smithton injured himself whilst rock fishing at Greens Point. A rouge wave washed the fisherman from his location and into the water. He was assisted by other fisherman nearby but sustained fractures to his arm and leg.

Due to the rough terrain the helicopter attended and transported the male to the North West Regional Hospital.

His condition is stable.
