Man’s body discovered at Dulverton
Police have today discovered a man’s body in bushland at Dulverton in the state’s North-West.
While the body has not yet been formally identified, it is believed to be that of 58-year-old missing Ulverstone man Noel Joseph Ingham who was reported missing on 4 October, 2016. His family has been informed of the discovery.
A vehicle matching the description of Mr Ingham’s Jeep has also been located in another area of bushland nearby.
The circumstances surrounding how his body came to be in bushland are currently being treated as suspicious.
It will take some time for the exhumation, post-mortem and identification process to be completed.
The investigation and search of the area is continuing with assistance from a NSW police cadaver search dog, SES and police.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Chapman said:
“Police have been conducting search operations in the area for the past two days as a result of information received.
“Search operations are likely to continue over the course of this week,” he said.
