At approximately 7.00pm on Thursday 17th November 2011, police received a number of calls from concerned members of the public about the driving manner of a burgundy Ford Falcon sedan as it travelled from Crosby Road Rosetta, through Chigwell and north along the Brooker Highway Claremont on the incorrect side of the road.

Police wish to thank those persons who provided continually accurate information about his driving manner and route he travelled which enabled the safe intercept of the driver in Claremont. The driver is to be interviewed and charged with traffic related offences and other matters linked with his driving manner.

Any witnesses to his driving manner who have not yet been contacted by police are requested to contact S/Constable (Q) Mark WOODLAND or Constable Andrew STEWART of Claremont Police station on 6214 4901 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 if they wish to provide any further information.
