A 32 year old Eastern Shore man was today interviewed by detectives in respect to making a false radio transmission on Wednesday 27 April 2011.  The man will now be proceeded against by summons for the offence of Making a False Radio Transmission and will appear in court at a later date.

Inspector Doug Rossiter said he was very pleased the matter had been resolved. He expressed his thanks to the many members of the public who provided information, some of which was of great assistance to investigators.

As the matter will now be before the courts, no further detail can be released at this time.
