A 20 year old man from Hobart’s northern suburbs is being proceeded against following the fatal crash on Baskerville Road, Old Beach, on Saturday morning.

Sadly, a 16-year-old girl died at the scene of the single vehicle crash.

The man has been summonsed to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court facing one count of being an Unaccompanied Learner at a later date.

No further charges have been laid at this stage, however, the investigation into the full circumstances of the crash is continuing.
