A 57-year-old man has been injured in an incident involving a falling tree at Garden Island Creek this afternoon.
Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 1.45pm today.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene and transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial inquiries indicate the man was felling trees on private bush property.
