On Sunday 24 November 2013 Launceston CIB charged a 19 year old man from Turners Marsh in relation to a series of slingshot damage attacks that occurred in Launceston on 29 August 2013.

Damage was caused to windows to at least 17 businesses and private vehicles throughout Launceston. 

The total estimated damage was $35,000.

The man was charged and bailed to appear at the Launceston Magistrates Court in January 2014.
