Hobart Detectives have charged a 48 year old New South Wales man in relation to loitering near children.

The man was arrested earlier this morning by investigators in regard to an incident near the Lenah Valley Primary School on 21 November.

This man’s activities were uncovered by investigators whilst conducting enquiries in regards to recent reports of children being approached in the Hobart area.

The man was not been charged in regards to any of those incidents and there is no suggestion he was involved in same.

Investigations are continuing into those reports and anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
