A 24 year old Mornington man has been charged with demanding property with menaces following an incident at a Bellerive take-away yesterday (24/02/2012).

The man has been detained and will go before an out-of-hours sitting of the Hobart Magistrates Court today.

Police would like to speak with anyone who saw a male person wearing a black hooded windcheater and track pants in Cambridge Road, in the vicinity of the Bellerive Quay, shortly after 8pm last night.
